Welcome to the 7th Annual African Diaspora Film Festival sponsored by Africana Studies and the Africa Project at North Carolina State University. We are proud to again bring you a selection of the best films providing available that provide an educational and entertaining peek into the global African experience.
This year's selections represent several countries (e.g., Brazil, Rwanda, Uganda and the United States) and include documentary and full featured films. We are particularly pleased to bring back a favorite animated film from previous festivals, Kirikou and the Sorceress which will be screened as part of our first partnership with the Cameron Village Public Library on April 1st.
We are again privileged to collaborate with new partners (African Studies Center @ UNC-Chapel Hill; Cameron Village Public Library) and old friends (African Student Union @ NCSU; African American Cultural Center; Multicultural Student Affairs; and the Richard B. Harrison Public Library).
Click on the dates to the left to access detailed information and video clips about each film.
We look forward to seeing you at the Cinema!
peace
